Adding slider on a web page is not bounded to whether you are using drupal or other. If you have put slider code and its not working properly then ad it separately in a single webpage. If it works properly then there are some CSS properties applied in rest webpage code affecting your slider. So open your web page in chrome and press F12 or inspect element. Now change CSS property in chrome browser and notice on the changes in the layout of your web page. When it gets proper then make those changes in your css file.
