hibernate-exception-handling: why i am getting org.hibernate.invalidmappingexception?

while i am running the java application(hibernate) the below error message is comming i have just created the files
employee.java,
employee.hbm.xml,
hibernate.cfg.xml,
test.java

"org.hibernate.InvalidMappingException: Could not parse mapping document from resource Employee.hbm.xml"

can you please tell me where is the problem may occurring?
