IT-applications: What is WFM?

WFM stands for Work Force Management. It is an application which is used to manage our resources.
e.g. In big organisation where huge number of resources are used so it is very difficult to handle all the resources manually. That´s why we use WFM Systems. The work of WFM System is to assign the work and monitoring. WFM System implements some organisation policy(i.e. logic domain).

Logic Domain contains:
1. Rule: Matching skills and matching district etc.
2. Objective: Optimizing time and performance
3. BVF(Business value function): Weightage of objective.

Interestingly, the term ?workforce management software? has been used historically, by different analysts, to signify different types of software.

First the task is come to CRM(Customer Relationship Manager) and CRM transfers the task to WFM System. Then WFM System optimize the task.
